5 Web Design Trends in 2021

As each year comes and goes, many websites adapt to trends of website design.

These can vary depending on the website, but they can make them fit in with others. Here are five web design trends that will be common this year.
  1. Minimalism: This kind of web design keeps it simple by only using simple elements that are crucial to the website, such as text and simple color palettes. This is not only a trend that will appear in web design, but in logo and packaging design as well.
  2. Dark mode: A popular mode for things like social media and mobile sites, this trend originally started in 2020, and continues to be popular today. This is when there is light text on a dark background. Dark mode can help certain parts of the website pop out to people thanks to the much more appealing design.
  3. 3D graphics: As 3D graphics gain technological advancements, more sites are looking to use them. This is because these designs will stand out better than traditional 2D designs. This is a new trend, so people will have to look out for it in the future.
  4. Gradients: A common part of most websites, gradients can help make a website stand out and catch your eye. They can help separate parts of a website, too, but can also stand out on their own at times.
  5. Multimedia elements: In this age of digital media, multimedia elements have been popular on websites for many years. This is because these elements can be understandable to readers without having them read text. As technology evolves, there will be new kinds of multimedia elements on websites, such as animations, voice-enabled features, and interactive videos.
These are just a few of the elements that will be trending on websites in 2021. Businesses can use these elements to make their site look more appealing, and feel like they are connected to other sites.
